Solid start to the series. Enjoyable solid premise as far as that goes. Performance is good enough. Decent pace, and the concept is developed properly instead of rushed along.

not much. Overall not a bad addition to the series. Good performance. The story is formulaic paced and I can’t say anything surprised me really, no twist – nothing to mess up. very safe. In many ways however the performance covers for the shortcomings and lack of suspense and thrills. It is good, but not..
Jeff Hayes as a narrator is top five in my opinion. Hugo Huesca does litrpg in a novel way that allows the protagonist to struggle through the adventure and find ways to succeed with cunning and relying on friends.
too much left unexplained. also stakes are WAY too high. too high to be believable. also…what are the rules of this world? just when i think i understand, the rules change and I’m confused
It is refreshing to get an orc MC. It’s about time! I did enjoy the non traditional protagonist. The Soundbooth Theater always produces performances of the highest quality. Their voice acting definitely bring the characters to life.
Great book. I can’t believe there is only one more in the series! I am excited to see how it ends. Jeff Hayes always does a tremendous job. The sound effects were a nice addition.
I found this to be a great story and as always the soundbooth crew does a amazing job bringing the characters to life
I really like This series, I am impressed that I am still enjoying each book as much as the first. I look forward to listening to the next one.
Excellent, nearly everything was perfect, but for some reason Dorrie Sacks sounds like she was recorded over the phone. Not the her performance wasn’t excellent but the sound quality of her lines isn’t the same as Jeff or Annie. Besides that this was an excellent enjoyable book and I definitely recommend it.
