I love RPG type games and was pleasantly surprised with this book. Definitely not the most involved nor complicated, but has a good flow and interesting characters. Looking forward to the second book.

lost patience about 4 chapters in. so much contrived plot devices, felt stolen from many others in the same genre. narration is great, but could only.hold on for so long.

I enjoy the story and the performance. It’s well written. It pulls at the heart strings and emotional invest yourself in the characters. I do wish the combat had a bit more. But there is already a lot. I’m greedy and want more.
