I was just getting worn out on the same rehashing of litrpg when I stumbled on this series. Now, if you take yourself too serious or have morality issues, you really should not read sci-fi to start with but this book is not for you. I actually agree with most of the sentiments and maybe..
just trying to finish the series. book 1 was good but this one seem to drag and not be as well written. I’m going to try the 3rd. if its not better im going to end the series.
The writer builds more on previous mysteries and we finally get some answers. Unfortunately the new female voice actor sounds like she speaking to a headset or inside of a fishbowl. It is extremely distracting throughout the book.
Thoroughly enjoyed this novella, but it’s not book 1.5, if anything, it’s 0.5 or 0.25. It takes place long before book 1. If continuity isn’t an issue for you, then you won’t mind.
This book spans a course of what… 3 days? I get you need to make a backstory, but really? Super slow. Narration definitely held this book together. without it I would dropped this book within the first 2 hours.
Not one of Ken Lozitos best books. Interesting enough to finish but perhaps not good enough to continue the series.Zach felt very much like a Stan Stu and the character interaction felt a little juvenile. I prefer First Colony. by a long shot
Just finished the book and I’ll tell you what this book has been really amazing with all the sound effects and all the Amazing of adventures that happened throughout the book It has been one of the best books that I have listened to
