loved the story I’ve listened to a lot of litrpgs and this is one of my favorites. Story is solid characters are likable and narrator is fantastic.

this book offers a refreshing perspective into gaming stories being told by the enemies eyes.

Another great installment from Harmon cooper leaving you ready for the next book. As always SBT knocked it out of the park.

Average LitRPG fare. Nothing really stands out to me as amazing, but I’ve listened to much worse. Some of the descriptions are a bit odd. For example everything seems to roar (except for things that can actually roar). Spiders roar, arms roar… It’s strange. Something was described as having “many legs like a flying carpet.”..

Honestly not bad. It had a compelling main character and a subplot I didn’t see a mile off. The voice acting could’ve been better and the stats listings we’re a little repetitive. Right from the beginning, plot holes galore. Not thought out or well edited. No interest in continuing.

This book was awesome, but I was not a fan of how quiet the main character spoke.
