So I started out really loving the whole idea behind this book. Then came the whole hit points, xp, and leveling up. I’m OK with playing a game like that but I don’t think there’s anyone that would expect to be put in a game like that and have xp, and stuff like your playing..
Its so far from being funny that I think the reviews must be fake. I think I smiled once the whole book. Very disappointing.
This story is so insipid that it makes me angry. It’s as if the author deliberately set out to remove everything that makes you care about characters or plot resolution. here’s a list of the problems: 1) the main characters are essentially Mary Sues. Everything comes easy to them and they continually win effusive praise..
Having read some reviews, I decided to take a chance on this. I thought it would be funnier than it is, glad that it wasn’t as lewd as it could have been, and pretty much totally amoral. As a monster story, it’s entertaining, won’t give you nightmares, but still speaks to the genre.
slash filler book, slash action/ with lots of banter and lots of forces orders made on the MC. it took a while for me to really get into it … i think that was mainly because there was lots of information missing for the mc, which was totally his fault lol and there were lots..
A favorite series that I have read many times. Listening to it for the first time, not disappointed. Tom out
The main character find some women who have been brutally tortured and mutilated and left for dead (imagine the most twisted kind of things you could do to someone’s body, that’s what’s been done to them) the main character heals them back to health and rather than say something like let’s find people who did..
can I get that summoning song as an mp3 please. it sounds awesome even though I know where it came from.
