the book was a slow start but quickly gets better and more in depth. lots of well developed characters and great voice acting too. I started this book because of the voice actor and am buying he next book for the continued story too. looking forward to more books!

This isn’t for everyone, while a great story it takes a long time to go a short distance. I say that because, unlike other stories, this is about the slow creeping dark of madness as it descends on a mortal mind. Very little dungeon management. Mostly Lord, less Dungeon.
I found it hard to finish there was a lot of fluff to make it a longer book it seems. example being orins character sheet. when read it was long boring and confusing. with that being said the Story is ok but not outstanding or original . I personally will probably not listen the next..
so far I love this series with a passion. I can not wait for the next book. the only little quirk I have, without any spoiling, is how the character starts to “lose himself” to the game. I especially enjoyed the narration of the different character voices.
