I don’t mind the sounds. I don’t feel they added or took away anything. My problem is with the soundstage shifting. spoilers …… it annoys me that at the tail end of an 18h story that it ended so meh. the last 5 min of the book if reworded would have made the story much better. seriously … you just said wall would get to current location in what 2 hours … and then you ignore..
One of my favorite fantasy series, such a rich universe filled with heroes (who are sometimes villains) and villains (who are heroic) with some of the finest narration. Must listen

Edwards story continues, the stakes are higher, and the author crushes it. Fantastic series within a unique and deeply flushed out universe, filled with great characters brought to life with incredible narration. A MUST LISTEN FOR FANTASY FANS

Very well done LitRPG. I enjoyed the characters and story is very engaging. Some things fall into the main characters lap, but I doesn’t distract from the Story or seem totally unearned. Looking forward to book 2.
I love the fairly unique approach, and story that follows game life from a monsters perspective. Though I feel there’s a little more of an MMO influence to this storyline, there’s more than enough reference to “pen and paper” to appease both sides of the gaming house.
