Heard so many good things about these books, so when there was a sale I decided to pick them up. Let’s just say I’m glad I got them on sale. There’s a lot of focus on comedy and it’s mostly reddit-tier humor if you know what I mean. The performance was decent but it felt..
After falling in love with the genre itβs hard to see a series grow and grow and never end. This series finally breaks that pattern with a stellar ending!
Audible has been recommending this book to me forever, and I’ve been refusing because it looks hideously stupid, and because the premise seemed depressing. But eventually I gave in. I’m sorry I waited so long.
The narrator Jeff Hays is amazing and really makes this story shine! The story is lively and never drags for long. The RPG elements all come together so seemlessly that it feels as though you are playing a game. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books on Audible!
the differentvoicesmake this audiobook great. the characters were always great. the story this time is not so great

Audio is really off balance. The “new achievement” voice is quiet, Donut is too high pitched, and Carl sounds wierd. Great story though!!!
The story is quite good and entertaining, though way too grindy. wish there was less grind and more story. characters were a little simple, but fun. I didn’t like the narrator at first, but they really grew on me, and are perfect for the character. I just really wish there was more plot. More people..
