I’m enjoying the story but the only thing I don’t like is how often it goes over the skills it feels like repetitive filler

Catch this is an outstanding book in every way . The performance, story and character development. The magic system and world are unique and well designed. The only negative thing I can say is there may not be a second book ever

I love the character and story progression. Threw out the series I was always look forward to seeing what unexpected thing BTM will do next.
So having discovered this book fall 2019 because got it for $5 on a black friday deal i read the reviews before and saw it was a great book and apparently the author been MIA and no word when/if a second book will come out. Unfortunately I fell hard for this book and finished it..

The main character is a sociopath as he literally finds out that he may have killed his girlfriend then immediately after hes flirting with some strange woman. The false build up of what his powers is stupid. no military or merc unit is going to send untested agents into the feild and now he suddenly..

The narrator made Chad sound exactly like I thought he would. Everyone else made the rest sound how I imagined and they made everything exciting to listen to
