Loved it. Don’t usually listen to books but this one really had me in suspense. Was even listening to it at work.

story was fairly boring. not quite what I was expecting from the title or the preview

It’s pretty obvious the author copied some obvious tropes like the ability to “analyze” enemies and items. And it’s pretty clear they were making a few things up as they went along, but its above average and pretty fun to listen to.

Our favorite mimic; Boxey T Morningwood has now fully developed into a mage and warrior and is quite powerful. As the story goes on though it gets a little… domestic… Toward the end of the story our hero has a very regrettable encounter…

Very minor spoiler because other reviewers don’t seem to get it – Runner Norwood is NOT the titular Selfless Hero. That is another character entirely. Do not go into this expecting the main character to be a selfless hero.

bit of a hard start with all the hard data but damm the story captivates me like none other did before.

just as good as the first one. just don’t take so long for the next book like you did with this one.
