I thought this series was called the selfless hero trilogy, not the birth of an irritating villain saga? Seriously. Regular cowardice, deus ex, missing obvious solutions used earlier in the same chapter, the most bizarre pacing I’ve seen in a while… I like this author, but this book, hell, this SERIES… it’s a serious case..

Overall story was great, I felt a connection with each character. My only real complaint is i wasn’t ready for the ending. This is the boxset, so I’m assuming there isn’t anything else in production for our motley crew. If that’s the case, I think an epilogue would have been great for closure.
