Wonderful characters brought to life by talented artists. I’m looking forward to the next time the pages of this world open up and let me visit.
Yeah it’s using every generic system: Imperials (every rpg including Elder Scrolls), Dwarves/Elves and “non-humans” in yet a generic system with the generic discrimination. No real thought put into the system. -And the characters felt almost as generic. It’s a shame too, I don’t like being negative about Charles Deans work, but he missed the..
I’m a big fan of this series. If you like epic fantasy, litrpg or an mc who gets some real challenges thrust upon her you should give this a try. Narration was great as always.
it was a fun and enjoyable book to listen too. glad there were not a lot of stats that take up whole chapters. narration was performed perfectly. the story left me wanting to start the second book as soon as i finished this one.
full cast production did the author &story proud. as far as I can remember it is the first unique game lit plot line that I have heard in quite some time characters interaction and cast were terrific helped you identify with the individual characters quite easily and just become immersed in the story great job..
this book is more about moving forward the plot outside of the game world and setting up the next couple of books with foreshadowing…. And still it is somehow brilliant and I swallowed it in no time flat… Annie is fantastic as always and I don’t recall the last time that I didn’t compliment Jeff..
