I loved this book. What started as a stock gamelit novel turned into a wild ride with awesome characters and brilliant story telling. I would call this a page turner if not for it being audio.

this book was fantastic. it was captivating from the very beginning to the very end. it showed how a villain can be portrayed and shines a light on how a normal person can be it’s psychopath. I am really looking forward to book 2.

I’ve been waiting for this to drop forever now and I’m so glad that I did. The story continues the dark one makes more heinous plans and Alexander and company do everything they can to become more powerful and to right the wrongs of the dark one and his minions.

The villain was excellent; however, I don’t feel like the main characters had much development after a certain point towards the beginning of the book. I enjoyed the book still and would recommend it.

I tried really really hard to finish this book. I gutted it out until chapter 45 when I just could not take it anymore I have purchased more than 200 audio books and this is bottom 5 for sure

Another great addition to the story. The real-world story and the game story start to blend together more in this one, and I like it. Keep on keeping on Carrie Summers, you beautifully brilliant wordsmith!

For me it was a slow start or maybe just took awhile to refresh myself to the previous books. It finished pretty good though.

good book I enjoyed this audiobook, an interesting take on what I have read before I cant wait for the next in the series
