I enjoyed the book, it was a fun read with great narration. The characters were uncomplicated and the story was some times dumb but I think it was meant to be that way. The story moves right along and the action is non-stop. I recommend this title to a reader that just wants to watch Saturday..
this book was fresh and original. The author is an incredibly talented storyteller, and Jeff Hays knocks it out of the park with his performance.
I loved the Ghosts and Magic series and was thrilled to see this on my suggestion page. This was an awesome prequel novella
Once you get passed the graphic violence, slavery, and beastiality it’s a great book. He’ll I didn’t even mind most of that stuff because it was done tastefully. It helps that it’s a unique story that makes you sit in the driveway to hear one more chapter before going inside.
The classic text did not disappoint. Equal parts humor and keen human insight. Mark Twain is one of the few authors I read growing up that hasn’t tarnished with age. The narration by Jeff Hays was pretty good. I especially liked his voices for Hank and Clarence. I wasn’t overly fond of his voice for..
First audio book ever. was kinda worried I wouldnt like listening to a narration instead of just reading, but this book made me fall into the story like I was there. I look forward to getting the 2nd book and listening to more.
Do you like Harem anime? Well you’ll love this book. I hate harem anime. I didn’t HATE the book, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Many interesting ideas, but the core just didn’t hook me.
Stat reads got lengthy at times, but were relatively few and far between. Only once in the whole book did I think “just get on with it already” which I find happens all too often usually in this genre.
