I can’t remember the last time I felt so immersed in a story. I’m new to GameLit/LitRPG, but this story has completely sold me on the genre. If I could give this story a bonus star, I would. If you’re an rpg gamer, I highly recommend this story.

Loved the story and knew the main character would return to reality. I’m not a gamer, but caught on quickly as to why even his “lucky bastard” skill couldn’t keep him from quests. He’s in a game! The story/adventures are so interesting, it made it hard for me to “log off.”

Another great book by Hugo Huesca. The story and characters are as great as ever, end luckily the narration has improved by removing the most annoying sound effects (like the “Spider talking” effect and such). Narration is solid and helps the mood and emotions of the characters feel more alive. A Very good audio book…
