Review from Super Sales on Super Heroes →
Even better than the first book. I love the interactions between Edward and Haddon (sp?). The other characters are given more life and depth. Jeff Hays is masterful, as usual, and gave life to the story and characters far beyond what my own inner voice could However, I have to be honest – mostly hoping..
Success! I really enjoyed this book. GREAT narrator, compelling story. I was afraid I wouldn’t like to listen to all of the “leveling up” activity, but I found that I quite enjoyed it. I’ve added several more LitRPG novels to my library, so I hope they live up to this one.
I had a great time listening to this book. If you are totally against a male being in complete control of powerful and beautiful women, then don’t get this book. If it doesn’t bother you then listen to this book as it is very well written. The main character actually gets more enjoyable as he..
The only reason I purchased this book was due to a sale that was too good to refuse… That said, it is a much better book than I hoped it might be. The narrator did a good job at this almost impossible cast, with only going annoying on a couple voices. I could almost visualize..
This book reads as if it was written by a 16 year old edge-lord. The main character is supposed to be dark and cool, but he sounds like that one guy you meet at a party that is obviously telling a fake story to impress everyone. He apparently also sleeps with a lot of women..
loved it! absolutely loved it! great story and the narrator was awesome! definite read for anyone who likes litrpg!
Please don’t get me wrong – this is a very enjoyable book – well, until the later half when it turns sour, as Twain himself apparently did. It’s the narrator’s accent of “a Connecticut Yankee” that has me in stitches. I don’t know where he thinks a Connecticut person AND a Yankee, at that, lives,..
This book is freaking awesome, I can’t wait until the next book comes out. once I see that it’s up for sale/presale I’m buying it.The story is awesome. The narration is incredible.Unlike some audiobooks, the narrator has feeling in his voice so that each minute makes you want to keep going.
Though the synopsis doesn’t show it, this is largely the fevered wet dream of an anime/superhero fan. The main character is the absurd “good slave master” who “nobly” turns down the option to sleep with his slaves only for them to throw themselves at him. On top of that abortion of a plot, the writing..
