I don’t know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t what I got. What I got was an impressively engaging novel about superpowers and slavery that doesn’t downplay either. Very inspired by anime and comics, but in a fun homage more than anything else.

An excellent story, well crafted and the narration is spot on which is just what you expect of Jeff Hays and Annie Elliott. The story line is proceeding in an interesting way and not a predictable way. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait the next!
