I was worried that I wouldn’t like this book. I was wrong. It isn’t the greatest in the genre but it’s pretty good. I like the slow grind and incremental world building. It brings everything to life instead of it being some guy that is reluctant or too overpowered. Can’t stand “reluctant heroes”. Bleh. Anyway,..
I wasn’t sure about this one, but the superhero aspect had me intrigued. It turned out quite different then I was expecting but quickly drew me in.
My only complaint is the amount of time spent on the skill sheets. Basically you can skip them and not miss anything… which is what I ended up doing by skipping ahead 30-60 seconds.
I’ve been addicted to the litrpg genre for over a year now and I’ve probably listened to over 50 of them on audible-THIS is one of the better ones and will leave you wanting another. The main character is ruthless which makes it a very interesting listen. Definitely buy and support this author
I took a chance on this listen thinking it might be to cheeky but I was hooked after the first chapter. The narrator did a great job. The parts where he was reviewing points got to be be a little old. Do yourself a favor and get this book and you’ll know why I say..
