I enjoyed the presentation of the content very much. Compliments to the voice actors. Overall, I enjoyed the story even if it was a little unsurprising in terms of its characterization, plot, and selection of tropes. It suffers, as so many other books in the genre, when read aloud. Not unique to this one book..

I very much liked this story with the sole exception of the constant reading of lists. The number of times I heard a complete rundown of character skills and attributes or number of points allotted bordered on annoying. I understand that it is a byproduct of this being an audio book and not a paper..
I enjoy a tale about a character who isn’t your typical protagonist you usually find in fantasy books. The jokes were pretty funny. I especially liked to references to things that we have in our world. Would recommend this to people looking for something to casually enjoy and maybe get a few chuckles. Definitely going..
Gadzooks! Where do I begin? How about with the amazing audible talents of Jeff Hays and Annie Ellicott. What wicked warbling this pair doth make together! Hays is far and away my favorite narrator, and Annie has blown my mind with her own skill, talent, and versatility as well. They make a dynamic duo doling..
Title pretty much says it all. The book should have been better but the characters do the whole constant inner turmoil overly descriptive nonsense. It’s even more frustrating during fight scenes. The last few chapters were practically unlistenable. I had to almost constantly hit the 30sec forward button in an attempt to suppress my overwhelming..
LOVE IT!!
