The books are rather short in my opinion. However the quality of the production is worth dealing with the shorter length.
Loved listening to the Audible version—the voices are awesome. Also, love the fast pace as well as the character development and transformation.
A centuries old half elf wizard, one second wise and patient then the next moment a temperamental psychopath who wants to murder weak people, then acts childish.
Definitely not the tastiest thing I’ve listened to. Books 1 and 2 were great, and I thought this one would follow suit, but 2 hours of mental, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse of a character was over the line. I’m not sure if I want to continue to book 4. Jeff, however, absolutely killed it..
I loved how immersive he made it feel with all the changes in voice and characters. It was my first audio book and I believe I picked the very best one for myself. Thank you for the experience and now I can’t wait to listen to the rest
This series continues to impress. Absolutely ludicrous plotline, but absolutely lovable characters that I found myself rooting for at every turn. The plotline in this one, including the big finale, draws very heavily on the continued story from book two. It’s a satisfying, if a little confusing, conclusion. I’d say my only downside is the..
