To be honest if I had read about it’s similarities to The Ripple System and the Axe, Frank with this books Hammer, Rock I would never have bought it. Rock was so incredibly annoying and his audible voice that of the Cookie Monster / Oscar the Grouch mashup then multiplied intensity 10 fold it left..

Wonderful story, wonderful narration!!! You will love it! I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. The only downside is I ended up binging on it and was exhausted for days!!!

Overall the story is pretty good, this is my 5th litRPG series and it hits all the earmarks of a progression type story, overpowered MC, stat and magic system, monster surges, high stakes action, yada yada yada. I liked that the stat dump wasn’t constant as in other series like TPH, HWFWM, ATC, DCC, etc…

This series continues to be amazing. Gripping right through the ending and I’ve already ordered the next one.
Audio of this book is legendary. Most people consider audiobooks equal to or less immersive than the text versions. I challenge any listener to make that argument against this masterpiece. Now that’s out of the way: the story is more than you think. This silly series really touches the heart, it asks questions about life..

the way Rock and Ash communicate reminded me a lot of how Eddie Brock and Venom interact and it had me cackling on multiple occasions! can’t wait for the second book audio to be recorded and released
