loved it! especially the epilogue great throughout but the ending was the best. I really enjoyed the fact that I could relate with the main character so easily.
Story reads like a daydream of a fantasy in the guise LitRPG. The MCs were never in any real danger. They were pathetically overpowered while at the same time consistently underusing their abilities. The game world is inconsistent- The allies (friendly NPC) are sapient while the dungeon enemies (or other unfriendly NPC) are automatons. Either..

I didn’t want to like this book, but as the story went on, I couldn’t not get hooked. It’s like a pseudo-prequel or alternate timeline of the Shadowrun universe; as if the Big 10 didn’t take over, but magic still rushed back into the world.
if you like Litrpg books this won will have you on the edge of your seat.
THIS book by far was amazing, it has been a long time since I’ve found myself intrigued by a superhero universe. it definitely brought a more realistic view on it.

Goth narrators are great. Justin James narration is like a warm hug for me. I read the eBook and liked that its complete in itself. A bit ready player one, a bit goblet of fire. The narrators complement the story well. I’m sure this will be a go to audio book for years to come.

One of the other reviews said the reader sounded like a muppet. I see what they mean, although I didnt mind the voiceovers. The story was interesting although there were more than a few parts where it seemed like the writer had lacked insight. I guess part of that is the point of the story…
