The thought of an inanimate object gaining sentience and how it worked through it’s own growth process is right on track with how you might think it would happen. Many surprises along the way lead to many more.

if you’re a fan of the genre, then you should pick up the series. fast paced action, thoughtful writing, humorous, there’s only a couple of minor problems with some unrealistic scenarios. par for the course , Jeff Hayes does a greatl job.
really looking forward to the next book! the first book was a random whim listen, but it quickly grabbed my attention. Fun if mild depravity ensues.
I loved how from the first this series pulled me into a brand new world! After reading the whole trilogy I was dying for more, luckily Mr. Arand delivered with a whole world of other books in the world he created!! I gladly moved back to the beginning with Otherlife: Dreams, the first book in..
The book was way too short and at least 30% of it was wasted on gay rights propaganda and drag queen culture. they didn’t even bother to use the humor element it was just garbage. I’m going to give the next book a try maybe and return this one
The narration was amazing. It makes the story much more richer when the narrators can do different voices that portray both female and male, different accents, even those of monsters. I like RPGLit stories that focus on the main character/ other characters, with a moderate moving storline, enemy and bosses, and doesn’t focus on romance…
