The main character is profoundly wronged by a corporate entity, signs a contract under duress, and is somehow convinced he’s bound by it. It’s like if someone wrote a novel about chess and had the antagonist use his “super queen move” to triple checkmate for extra points. Jeff Hays is pretty good though.
