The main character is profoundly wronged by a corporate entity, signs a contract under duress, and is somehow convinced he’s bound by it. It’s like if someone wrote a novel about chess and had the antagonist use his “super queen move” to triple checkmate for extra points. Jeff Hays is pretty good though.

this honestly felt less like an independent volume in a series and more like a setup for what’s to come and in that regard it fell kind of flat the book isn’t bad just meh. I am however looking forward to the next installment as that promises to be way more interesting
this story keeps you going and makes you feel like you’re listening to an ever-expanding world of superheroes and supervillains Felix has the most unique powerset I’ve ever heard of in a story recommended for all superhero fans and a great sci-fi Adventure looking forward to hearing where this goes
