This was a great series. I am really hoping to be able to hear the ending of this truely sci-fi/fantasy series.
Excellent mixture of multiple design elements made the story very realistic, and gave the characters depth. The best part is how quickly you get drawn in. You really want to explore the world that’s been created here.
I love the universe Mr Sproul has created and I have enjoyed his other works, especially hero of thera and the first book of this series. This book just seemed to wander. I enjoyed the hellions, however they didn’t expand or move the plot along. Jeff hays as usual did a great job narrating.
great character development and a terrific beginning to a new epic series. can’t wait for the next one.
Any additional comments? There were a lot of changes to the story, but it felt like many of them were not even halfway explored, just prequels to the next book.It felt like the book was cut short for one reason or another, not a great way to continue one of my top 3 LitRPG stories.
Henry and Jason were training together when they suddenly appear in another world. Soon after they learn that they were kidnapped by the god Dolos in order to accomplish a difficult mission. This book was quite entertaining, even though there was some Deux ex Machina involved, but I concede that this is something usual in..
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? Anyone that loves a fantasy book should give this one a try. I know it is in a subset called Litrpg or whatever but that doesn’t matter this is pure fantasy goodness. What was one of the most memorable moments of Delvers LLC: Adventure..
I tend to stay away from books featuring superheroes/villains. To me, the proper format has always been Comic Books, but William Arand totally changed my perspective with SSOSH. Felix is a likable loser with a pitiful power, who suddenly comes into his own. Overnight he practically goes from being a nobody, to being the head..
