If you’re not a fan of manga/anime I’d hazard a guess this may not be for you but it’s worth a shot. I went into it not expecting much frankly but by the end I was ready to jump straight to the next book.

Book one had me sold early on with the in game intrigues, however book 2 just completely lost it and went overboard with all this real life stuff and pretty much ruined the book for me. It was all bad, but not nearly as good as the first one.

I liked it a lot iv had a hard time finding stuff that I enjoy iv got 50 or so books waiting for the next book in the series to come out and I will say this is now on the list. Reminds me of the book THE LAND chaos seed so it has some..
narrator was great! all of them. buuuttt…. I don’t think I’m supposed to hate the protagonist as much as I do. He’s supposed to be this top level tactician and all around smartie artie but the majority of his conflict is self inflicted, and not by a natural lapse in judgment that all flawed people..

Captivating. Slightly unfortunate end with what looks to be a whole load of effort wasted with little next to nothing gained. No amazing new power, no unique twist of fate, just another hole in another situation which our MC must now dig himself out of. Still entertaining at any rate.

This was a wonderful break in all the trash that’s on audible. This one is worth your credit for sure!
No need to spend money here. It is very unfulfilling. The authors rambling of political views and emotional stress of the character removes you from the world he created. The world he created was a great idea and was entertaining until the story doesn’t become a story just an emotional political garbage. Pass it up..
