The plot and story were in line with the other books, but the MC spent the entire book agonizing about internal BS… which would have been fine as an undercurrent. However it felt like the author couldn’t go ten pages without rehashing the MC’s moral dilemmas, and it just got annoying after awhile. I hope..

Army of darkness meets the matrix. This book has a great storyline that will keep you guessing all the way to the end and even then you’ll cheer for the dark priest of an apocalyptic Demi-god of evil.

Two of the best narrators I’ve heard. However, the story was dull and many forgettable characters. I ended it with about 3-4 hours to go, just lost interest in it altogether. If not your the amazing narrators, I would probably not have made it that far.

Earlier in the series the story and the MC were entertaining despite the numerous annoying secondary chars. In this book the MC has one reaction to everything sigh then whine and moan. Jeff Hays and Annie Ellicott are unreal. Their vocal capabilities are matched. The story is written extremely well. It’s not to fast in terms of character or plot growth.
