The plot and story were in line with the other books, but the MC spent the entire book agonizing about internal BS… which would have been fine as an undercurrent. Earlier in the series the story and the MC were entertaining despite the numerous annoying secondary chars. In this book the MC has one reaction to everything sigh then whine and moan. I think we’re supposed to feel sorry for the depressed sad sack MC with God like powers surrounded by women obsessed with him…
Jeff Hays and Annie Ellicott are unreal. Their vocal capabilities are matched. The story is written extremely well. It’s not to fast in terms of character or plot growth.
