If I’m honest, the whole game mechanic was just hard to get into and for a game world, it was pretty dark with very little in the way of loot. Plus, the character interactions just didn’t seem genuine. There were also plenty of times when characters in a futuristic world just seemed far too modern..

It was good. Has the potential to be great but the way the book ended was not the direction the build up of the entire book lead to. Sure there are some foreshadowing but still ended way different than expected and not sure if it was good or bad…
I’m sorry, but the MC is literally unlikable. Maybe that’s the point, but unlike a story where the MC has bad traits but you still want the best for him (e.g. Breaking Bad), I’m over this one. Every bad thing that happens to Oren is entirely his fault, and his decisions are just ridiculously terrible…
This was a lot of fun for anyone familiar with RPGs. The constant stat checking that goes on and gamer humor appeals to my inner nerd. I would not recommend for anyone that wants a serious plot because there isn’t one yet, just pointless mostly random character development.
In the ever expanding LitRPG genre you find many stories that come from gamers not writers. Life Reset is better than those and still lacks some fundamentals. Pros: Great world building and truly has one of most enjoyable settlement developments in LitRPG. Main character isn’t an unstoppable, over-powered being. Great pacing of action and leveling…
It’s been a while since I listened to a book that has held my attention from the very beginning. It was a very light listen full of laughs. Love Andrea. Love them all actually. Planning on getting the other 2 book in the series. Just hope they are as fun.
Funny, great characters and Fun. Superb voice acting as well. I really enjoyed it. It’s like a superhero organization wee run as a company. If I had one nit, it’s the slightly juvenile focus on multiple “helpless” women and a male hero. Suspending that loved the book.
Just bad, bad acting, bad Southern accents with lots of emphasis on bad Prison stereotypes. Book is bad mistake.
