I had high Hope’s for this book as I really like ken’s first colony series. The premise is interesting but the story gets bogged down with the sloppy love quadrangle and parts seems like a trashy romance novel. That being said the end was intriguing and i will give the next book a try hopefully..

The power set and setup of the story is a bit cliche but I enjoy how meta it becomes. I enjoy the narration and the interaction that Grace has with Giddeons inner thoughts.
Man of War by one of my favorite authors! This series has aliens that have invaded and destroyed/killed most of mankind. While maybe not as funny as the comments let on, it was still a very entertaining story. perhaps a little too short? Hope the next ones are just as good!
Production is really good with key passages enhanced with sound effects, music or both. All narrators brought that something extra special to all the characters. Soundbooth theater narrators are quickly becoming some of my favorites. Story was better then some of the other stuff out there and without spoiling anything, I think the author did..
