this book is great but it is super annoying hearing his stats after every chapter. be ready to fast forward 1:30 every chapter
I thought it was going to be an story about a young adventurer gaining levels. I was only half right but I couldn’t stop listening. binged the whole thing
I was expecting a more level intensive, monster-grinding novel; however, the story is much more focused on character development, relationships, and world building. There is also plenty of interesting magic, combat, and loot as well. Jeff Hays was brilliant as always. This was a fantastic introduction to a new series and I already bought the..
the story is smart, entertaining and well crafted.I wanted to know what happened next. it doesn’t give you a lot of stats most of the time or when actually relevant. so a fairly good entiry point to the genre. the narration is on point, but by Justin the main narrator and the rest of the..

The same great story telling, character development and creative mechanics makes this book hard to stop reading/stop listening to. If you enjoy Game Literature and science fiction that brings up interesting scenarios and the consequences that they would result in. A fun read/listen and would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to finish the series!
Buck flows easily from the previous book but close easily from the previous book, narrator is good really makes you feel as you’re listen to a bunch of guys playing at DND game or an online game
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’ve listened to a lot of LitRPGs and this is one of the better constructed ones. The main character is a very interesting take on a protagonist. He’s not noble, but he’s honorable; he’s not a nice guy, but you still find yourself rooting for his every move. He’s a..
