I enjoyed the ostensible very much. The protagonist was quite fun to play the game along with and he kept the surprises coming. Excellent idea to use stat points instead of EXP, very original! This was a great story I would recommend to any fan of Lit RPG. I’ll definitely pick up #2.
Morally obstuse does not belong to describe Boxxy.The way the gnome casually dismisses her trauma seemed a bit off but I’m hoping the next book will help her heal. I love Boxxy and hope he teams up with Zone somehow! I know it’s unlikely but how cool would that be! The sound effects and acting..

Of course that used to be what I would say for a good read when owning the book. In this case the combination of a good story and great performance makes it really hard not to just keep listening. I hope to see the next one out soon. I’m loving that Boxey T. Morningwood continues..
This is great listen Harmon cooper really gives you good story and flashes out a great character in this series and answers all kinds of questions about where they come from.
