Book is amazing I need book 3 now! I think this is approaching my top litrpg series. Jeff Hays also deserves a special shout-out I tend to buy more books he has voiced. Shermer I definitely love the series please write faster!

Liked the story, but hearing the Character data sheet constantly was annoying. Try it.
Light hearted, entertaining and enjoyable. Its well read and you will actually hold your breath to figure out how the hero will overcome the odds.

I am a dedicated fan of fantasy novels involving gaming, this one has a bit of new twist and I loved the story and character development. While at times gory and you really feel for the main character it kept it fairly clean when it came to sexual references. I love a good ‘clean’ novel..
Honestly, there were too many filler parts to the story that didn’t add any value to the progress of the plot, was very annoying to listen to and could have been eliminated (AKA sex, sexy stuff, etc.) The main character also was a bit psychotic this time around, I don’t know if that was intentional..
I throughly enjoyed this book. Breaking the mold of the typical rpg fantasy. Funny and some good twists.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to this series, and Vortena was no exception. Iliev has a very unique and entertaining writing style that matches perfectly with the narration of Hays. My only complaint is that I would very much like the next book right now, but I know I’ll have to wait. I just hope it..

The seems to be little flow to the writting style. It almost seems like a horribly abridged version. So much so that the story seems bare bones rather than fleshed out. Character development is not a priority at all and when it is injected into the story it feels forced.
