Despite being set in an actual video game, and with everything contrived to give the protagonist an advantage over everything. It was still pretty good. The stats felt meaningfulish, and I was engaged the whole way through. So kudos.
I’m a sucker for the litrpg genre, which being what they are, obviously aren’t going to be remembered through the ages as great works of fiction. they’re just for fun. Jack is a great anti-hero, and the way he handles challenges in the game is not only unpredictable, but also makes you want to keep reading. Can’t wait for book 3!
best I’ve heard yet the story on the outside made it even better because him and his parents and is on but vsoft becoming the villain didn’t expect that
This book was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the storyline and the narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life. Very interesting power Felix has. Andrea was hilarious! “Pancakes!!!”
