Fun story with a well thought out world and masterfully performed. Pacing however seems a little sporadic especially with regards to the character development. All the same, a fun listen and I’ll be checking out the sequel soon!
Warning: This series is not for serious-minded people looking for the next James Joyce or Bronte sister. These books are for mindless entertainment and people with a sense of humor.I’ve read several funny books, but this is a top three. There were numerous occasions where I was literally laughing out loud and slapping my knee!..
I really struggled with the beginning of the book. MC kept making the same mistakes and way too weak. The last part of the book grabbed my attention and left me hopeful for book 3. Please let him have awesome power and not just be coddled by his women!
Loved this series, great narrator, great action, great story. Can’t wait to read the next book! Here we go!

loved the story, it was a fun read gaming wise and also a great senerio that kept me very interested amd hooked. my favorite is the main characters emotions and how they change as the time progresses being stuck and the reality of the game in contrast.
