I love the characters, story, voices, I love when audiobooks have a male and female narrator, it brings the characters to life more. I really enjoy blackbeard, I can’t really think of any more things to say that aren’t spoilers.

Its got decent lore, and an engaging protagonist, but I personally feel the magic feels flat.

There isn’t much else I can say about this series that I haven’t mentioned before. From the first chapter to the last, my attention was held with an iron grip! Somewhat entertaining, but very flat and doesnt really feel like it develops into much. Jeff Hays saves this book with another unbelievably good performance, but still would not recommend it.

Not a common situation, but I loved the first book and I thought Dean produced more of what I loved while adding enjoyable complexities and characters.
