Review from Life Reset: A LitRPG Novel →
I liked it and hated it all at once. there were times I really just shook my head at this and yet I found it kinda fun.
Just simply a lot of fun. The only thing that was annoying were the many “hp+2, mp+1, stamina+1, etc.” right in the beginning. There were a lot of them. But worth sticking it out.
the title says it all. I generally only fill this part of the revue with nonsense, but this book is worth it to say that it feels very well thought out. and is worth a listen.
A different twist on a growing genre that I really enjoyed. I don’t like to tell much in my reviews so just spend the credit or buy the book as it is worth it.
lacking in detail depth and the human experience that drives us to read I didn’t care about any of the characters in this world that time was not taken there was no true danger to anyone in short the story collapsed because it lacks a foundation
I found myself enjoy the interactions between our main characters more in volume three. There were many occasions were my family members asked me, “what”, as a response to my chuckling out loud to something readheard from the book.
I tend to like LitRPG authors who bring more to the game, namely humor like Scott Meyer, and Robert Bevan, but Mrs Summers builds a pretty good world without bogging down the story line with repetitive details of stats, grinding, or glossing over how the characters or story line gets from one point to another.This..
The story is ok. But the narrator sounds like Obama. You can imagine Obama reading this to you. With him saying: fuck, pussy, cock, boner, and penis. It’s absolutely hilarious.
