Of course it’s mostly just a teenage boy’s fantasy but surprisingly that doesn’t make it any less great. Jeff Hays also has the best female voices on the planet.

This novel includes some interesting twists and turns in the plot, and a great blend of modern reality with dark fantasy. Surprises and gasps abound, and the end is a hoot. Performance voice is great.
I had not heard of this title but it turned out to be amazing and very catching. great job making me care about the characters and enough action and progressing to make me want more. I see book two is out and starting it riiiggghhhhht… now!

Great and interesting story, would dare say it’s the most unique story I’ve ever heard in the fantasy line. The performance of the reader is on point. He seems genuinely interested in the story and makes an effort to voice act, giving the characters soul.Looking forward to hear book 2.

Lots of sex that has no value to the story. Also the authors pacing is erratic and irrational jumping around constantly. The story would have benefited greatly from an editor reading it and encouraging a more coherent flow. It felt like the authors only concern was what he wanted to write. He couldn’t be bothered..
