I absolutely loved the book. It was very different from most other LitRPG’s I’ve listened to. The “leveling” system and power breakdowns is innovative and you just can’t help to want to listen for hours on end.
Wow, I couldn’t stop enjoying myself. The sound effects, humor, wit, and insanity! just wow.
Story was excellent just odd that the volumes for dialog and narration weren’t even. Dialog was significantly quieter.
perfirmance was good but story was anemic.l and read like a nerd fantasy. it was semo entertaining though.
could have done without some of the over electronic sound filters, but other than that it was very enjoyable.
The story was a decent mix of action and sex. I was afraid it would go overboard, but it turned out alright. The narration was very good Especially since this was Annie Ellicott’s first narration if I understood it correctly. The other narrators did a good job as usual. Nice performance all!
I’m an old school gamer and the tropes and jokes crack me up. The books really remind me of the old Rift and GIRPS games I used to play. Can not wait for the next book !!
Great audio series!! Enjoyed more then the first! The character building and story line keep pulling me in! Cant wait for the third book!

Just terrible – I consider myself pretty open to a wide variety of story types. This, to me was garbage.
I tore through this book. It was great! Henry’s personality really has opportunity to shine through and became so much more likable for me. Super epic fight/battle scenes! Awesome free-form magic! And holy cow, Jeff Hays, supremely excellent performance. I laughed out loud many times at Henry’s ‘who cares?’ antics and tude. Awesome stuff. Volleyball???..
