It was a good start to a trilogy, can’t wait for the next chapter. The narrator is awesome, and keeps me intrigued in the storyline!

Great humour and excllent voice acting. a twist on the anti hero which was well executed

I don’t know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t what I got. What I got was an impressively engaging novel about superpowers and slavery that doesn’t downplay either. Very inspired by anime and comics, but in a fun homage more than anything else.

This book was a pleasant surprise. I did not think I was going to like orwould anticipate the next book in the series as much as I do. My only complaint is I wasn’t able to find a website to see how the next book is coming.

An excellent story, well crafted and the narration is spot on which is just what you expect of Jeff Hays and Annie Elliott. The story line is proceeding in an interesting way and not a predictable way. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait the next!

My son picked this book for us to listen to together. It is a great story. And when it ended I had to get the next book. I highly recommend this book if you like super heroes.

Having no background on this author or series, I was thoroughly (and pleasantly surprised) by the creativity in this RPG style narrative.
