Review from Dungeon Lord →
I got one of the wonderful new litrpg audiobooks and happy about it. It was great! ***** Everything below may contain SPOILERS ***** A Dungeon Lord book grips and holds attention from the first page till the very end. In the beginning, we manage to get acquainted with Edward Wright, one man in group players..
Basically everything I said in my last review is still true if not extra true. But with one major addition. A luck mechanic was officially introduced. And then worshipped with careless abandon. No more cleverness, skill or anything left. Just everything solved arbitarily through lucky breaks. Sure maybe theoretically its not much different than most..
Like the title says this book is almost a copy of the authors other series Other Life Dreams. ProsInteresting CharactersLight Hearted FunWell WrittenWell Narrated ConsMain Character is so overpowered he doesn’t really face any true challengesEvery major character is female and in love with the main characterNearly identical to the authors previous work
SO COOL!

Better than I had thought

I struggle to think of anything to complain about this book. The characters were great, the monsters monsterous, the action well balanced, exciting and far more intelligent than other books, the main character doesnt feel that overpowered. The world feels good, the story was nice. The sex scene almost 4 starred this but I got..
Not as good as book one, jarring but still interesting enough to get book 3 and see if the author made the same mistakes again
Review from Obligations Incurred →
This book was not as good as book one. Far too little progression in the story compared to characters internal monologue. I appreciate the character building to an extent but a good amount of it is monologues that build traits that have already been established. I think this book could be a good bridge into..
