The world that he has created is interesting and actually pretty captivating, but the characters are under developed and he works to undermine what little character development he actually made. this is a funny book and a comical take on the genre. I loved Critical Failures and this has that same feel

my only complaint was in narration. there were several voices that had an annoying echo.
Awesome addition Blaise!! Jeff Hays is a master narrator, and one of my all time favorites. I look forward to more from Blaise.
though I’m not a fan of litRPGs I love this kind of narrative. the synopsis didn’t give it away and I won’t here so that you might enjoy the surprise as well. I’ll be buying the next book the day it comes out.

Action, adventure, monsters and magic abound. What makes this different is the mature themes (ptsd/rape) and personal growth between characters. It’s not especially dark and I think anyone who loves a good adventure with a clever plot, and great characters would enjoy this story ! Reader did a great job distinguishing between voices of many..
