I will admit that this story has me hooked. It was definitely unusual… And the whole “big chest” double entendre thing was amusing. I’ll be anxious to see what the author does for an encore.

Really if I could sum up this book simply I would say it was one hell of a Jaw dropper that will top my list for Repeat listening well at least until the next one comes out. My humble regards to the Author for creating such a magnificent fantasy world.

Although the actual writing is not bad, and neither is it great, the writer deals with slavery, and some other very vile issues, in a manner that suggests it can be beneficial to the victim and that the victim may come to appreciate and care for their overlord. Just FYI, there’s an hour long hyper detailed torture scene. Roughly ~5% of book length.

I had such a great time listening to this story, the performance is the best I have yet to listen too. And the story is much more than what you think it would end up being. I enjoyed every character.

What a ride, I cannot wait for book 2. Sound theater killed it with the special effects too.

This book was quite the ride and took a standard adventure fantasy and turned it on it’s side. While this book isn’t for everyone, particularly those looking for more complex literary works, it does make for an entertaining read. Count me in for book 2.
