great story, a cut above most litrpg. heroes are comples and flawed with surprising emotional depth. a very enjoyable story.
Most of this book is escapism to the point of boredom. There’s very little tension and the MC does unrealistically well once the book progresses past chapter one. That being said, I found the read mildly enjoyable and the ending provided a few tense moments. I used to be more into Anime and I kept..
I almost skipped over this book but finally gave in, since I felt like I’d heard everything else. I can tell you know I should have bought it a while ago and I’m buying book two immediately.

What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book? he doesn’t simply read it out he acts everything from voices inside and out of armor and phones/electronics and its amazingly well done Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? yes..

this story is diverse and stereotypical at the same timw. easy to fall in love with the charectors, but not as easy to follow the plot. complicated and wonderful at the same time! i loved it!
