second book even better than the furst. great fun, recommended for all litrpg fans and all fantasy fans.
Really enjoyed the story and writing. Liked the tie in between business and gaming. Kept me on my toes about what would happen next, how the powers would evolve, and how the store developed.
I read in other comments that it turns into Harem silliness and it does but it’s still very well written. Plus the performance by the narrator really sells it regardless of the story.
It was like a mix of a cliche harem story, spiderman, and SAO, without being too much, or too boring. it kept me listening even at lunch breaks. definitely worth the buy if you like any of these afor mentioned generes. 🙂
Listened to the whole thing and it was…bearable. AGGRESIVELY mediocre though. I did get SUPER (heh) tired of the narrator having to read RPG style stat lists. How incredibly nerdy… two modern age luckless joes get yanked to the ultimate fantasy adventure planet. All they needed was dice and snacks to make it complete! Oh right – they’re fighting for their lives the whole way. Next book please!
