Another superb performance by Jeff. This book is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, and has an explosive end that was just magnificent. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Without a question, fantastic book. Despite this being pure fantasy, Matt is able to interject how humans really are into the story. Great characters! Travis is fantastic as always. I love the story.

An entire story where every single good guy is unnecessary to the story. It’s just a crap plot that is so full of holes it would make a collender blush.

I greatly enjoyed the narrator, and the author has a quick wit written into this. Highly recommend

Firstly, Jeff Hays did incredible!! The story is overall fun; video game-esq themes, pop culture references galore, and a fun world mechanic. The writing is ok, but I do think it suffers from fluff and overly traditional style. If you expect something light and passive, you’ll be thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to the sequels!

Pacing felt kinda off occasionally but it still had the intoxicating mix of comedy, lovable characters, and dark subject matter present in DCC. Definitely worth a listen.

it’s a good book but I feel it relies to heavy on shock of slap stick over depth. compared to primal Hunter and he who hunts monsters is put this 3rd to them

This book was a miss from Matt. Characters weren’t likable and the story was super meh.
