The dialogue in this book, both spoken and internal, is some of the worst it have ever heard. Long conversations are an exercise in endurance. it feels like someone tried programming a robot to write realistic human conversations and thought processes.

Jeff Hays did fantastic with the voice acting. Each character has distinct voices that are very memorable. I’ve listened to nearly 150 books on here and this is the best to date!

Can’t wait for more books in this series. The story and production were perfect. Bravo!

I really enjoyed the characters in this book. while most sane people would find the premise on the wrong side of objectionable, the story really draws you in and the slave element feels almost secondary. don’t let the plot device scare you off. I LOVED this book, the characters, the setting, the action, and the story. Everything was superbly done and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. Do yourself a favor and get this book.

Book 2 brings us back to our favorite troop of characters. New problems and old sins a like to be faced. The story gets deeper from here and will leave you synching the 3rd book before you finished this one. Bravo!
