Very fun. Great voice acting, engaging story. Felt like listening to a live action role play.
Super fun
Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Adair is a retired warlock PI, hiding from life, until a young teenager crashes into his life, begging for his help. His life is chaos from that moment, and I was along for every page of it. The banter and storytelling were absolutely on point. Brea..
I cannot stress enough how happy I am to have discovered these books. The audio is by far the most entertaining production I’ve experienced and cannot wait to jump into the next!
This Story has a good pace and keeps your interest, with excellent character development, highly recommend!
Bought DCC on a whim after I finished HWFWM after seeing the constant referrals for it online. HUGE MISTAKE. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT EARLIER. The story is very intriguing, characters really resonate, and It’s incredibly good fun. I found myself laughing out loud constantly
Very comical, as someone who plays video games and plays DnD it makes me relate to the story in a good way.
The reader was amazing! The special voices were spot on. “New achievement!” – can’t wait for the second book!
I wish that there was more internal dialogue. I like to understand the complexities of the relationships between characters, and a lot goes unsaid about motives and inner rumination. I’m not an author. I love this book series! What a wide world Matt built. It’s getting more and more complex and I have NO idea..
This book felt most coherent to me and the characters really hit their stride in their development. Donut and Carl are definitely the donutest and carlest they’ve been. Also the introduction of some music scenes with actual music was a nice way to break up the narration. Plus the tender moments were poignant. Very heartfelt.
