The narration is absolutely spectacular, and the story is brilliant. Love watch the hijinks of Anthony and his crew unfold. The lore tidbit at the start of the chapters add so much to the world, along the with the lore chapters.

Vocals were great, story and character felt awkward repeatedly throughput the book due to poor consistency of details and events. Kept pulling me from the immersion and felt jarring. The inconsistent and contradictory details made things feel fake. I like the concept, but execution feels poor.

Reads like a cringy anime. Even includes fully grown women that sound like a small child.

This is one of the most amazing series out there. Give the first book a read and you’ll be handing out recommendations to it like, “Holy Molly!” and it won’t even be sarcastic as you push books and audio series access in libraries. Definitely give this ride a try.

I love this series! Anthony gets better and better the stronger (and crazier) he gets. Such a family-ant, doing everything he can FOR THE COLONY! Even at the cost of himself and the pain of the ‘Hook’. I can’t wait for the next books in the series to see his exploration of the 4th, evolution..

Though I thought the card system was too confusing to follow. Still absolutely addicted to this series

This has been one of the best listening experiences I’ve had with an audiobook. the story is exciting, written terrifically, and the narration is Great!Looking forward to the rest.

This book and this story and this production has kept me laughing and enjoying it the entire time I’ve been listening to it. I keep finding myself wanting to go back and listen to it instead of doing my work. This is worth it looking forward to the next book.
