this book pulled me from a very long book funk. it was entertaining and ad a nerd engaging with the d&d references

Love these books almost as much as I love my wife and children no joke

Listened to the last 6 hours in a row. Couldn’t put it down. Twists as crazy as you’d expect if not more insane. Narration and production as crisp as ever.

these books are amazing, and this one in particular is non stop action peppered with the full spectrum of fear, hope, love and laughs

I have thoroughly enjoyed the evolution of this story. from an apathetic, follow the flow kind of guy, to someone really driven and looking for a change. if this is how it ends so be it, but I hope there is more to come.

The story sometimes bounces between perspectives and it’s not clear when that happens. I prefer a single viewpoint, but besides jumping between the two protagonists viewpoints, there’s also at least five other viewpoints. one of which was beyond savory, and I feel like too much time with spent on it. Loved this book. It was very entertaining on most fronts. Had an in your face attitude approach in its entirety and didn’t hold back on any aspect. Can’t wait to listen to the next one!

This book is great! And with the addition of Jeff Hays, this audiobook was incredible! It’s for sure a top 5 pick of mine!

What a Hoot!!! Did not expect much but found myself happily drawn into the book
