The story continues to flow like water. Hopefully i will remember that the flow of books will leave audible, so i can follow it.
Effective narrative use of video game and ttrpg concept/mechanics and makes it accessible to people who aren’t familiar. However, maybe too mature for someone who is new to fantasy/rpg and not already comfortable with dystopian settings that can ride the line of horror, dread, and tragedy. Although, I do think that this is the story’s..
the entire series has been absolutely addicting and immersive. I started listening with book 1 while I was recovering from a major surgery and these audio books really helped the time pass by and was something I looked forward to each day. 20/10 would and will recommend to anyone even if they dont ask!
This book was an absolute work of art! The story and narrators alike deserve an oscar! I’m almost tempted to get all 3 of them individually instead!
The story is amazing, the narrator is phenomenal. this book is incredible, especially in audiobook form.
The story pacing was solid, and all the different characters were well-written and interesting, though some of the twists were a little predictable. The magic system was well thought out and well implemented into the story. Over all a great book! Can’t wait for the sequel!
Entertaining writing, and great narration. Jeff Hayes sounds like a Kirkland brand Patrick Warburton. I loved it.
While the Dungeon Crawler Carl series has become one of my favorite series, the narration of this audio book is incredible! Very hard not to stay engaged with the showmanship and background sound effects. A++
